LOS ANGELES (APRIL 11, 2012) – Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today announced the HITMAN®: ABSOLUTION™ PROFESSIONAL EDITION is now available for pre-order. The professional edition includes a premium hardcover art book with a foreword from Game Director Tore Blystad, and an exclusive behind-the-scenes “making of” video. Since Captain Kirk graduated the Star Fleet academy and Han Solo made the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs, the debate over which series is superior has raged on. Just as one hits warp speed, the other seems to beam up to the top.
After much research, I am sad to say that Star Trek has officially lost the battle. I know that some Enterprise fans will need to call in sick to work and cuddle up with their stuffed Tribbles. Others might argue their points to tip the scales in their favor. However, the video below is proof that Star Trek is far inferior to Star Wars…
An integral part of the gaming culture is trade shows and Events. At these events you are sure to be captivated by the promise of new releases and revealing of demos and new hardware.
While you are wandering the aisles you are sure to run into developers, voice actors, TV Personalities, but what about all of those costumed people? Who are they and why are they there?
At first glance you might think that they are part of an extravagant promotional scheme. However they are, in fact, just normal everyday people like me and you. You are sure to see the staples such as Mario, Ash, Cloud, and Sailor Moon. Sometimes you will be treated with a train wreck of people that try a little too hard. Regardless, you will mesmerized by the complexity and the laziness of the costumes.
Below are some awesome, and not so awesome costumes from the web. Have you ever dressed up as your favorite character? If so, which one? Feel free to share your pics in the comments below!
Admit it, as much as you hate Angry Birds you secretly have a crush on it! You probably play the original while on lunch break at work, Season’s while dropping the kids off at the pool, and Rio while…who am I kidding no one plays RIO.
The next installment, Angry Birds Space, will launch on March 22nd. Although there is no word on how the physics will be altered, or what new characters will be introduced, I will more than likely give it a try.
The popularity of Angry Birds still surprises me. It is not a new concept, but I guess cute little birds and Angry green pigs have captured our hearts. What is it about this game that sets it apart from other bird and pig games? Pass the pigs is a cool game to pass the time, but it hardly stacks up. And what about Legendary Wings, fly it over to a portable console or phone and I will be hooked!
The only question I have is, will I play it during commercials, or while I am waiting for the coffee to brew?
Will you try Angry Birds in Space? What game do you use to pass the time?
