As of today gamers can pre purchase Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Those who pre purchase get a 10 per cent discount, and will be able to play the new beta on August 14, which will run until the launch on August 24.

The changes from the previous beta, which began in December,  have been listed on Counter-Strike’s web page. They will include upgrades to weapons, gameplay, maps audio, and will introduce new playable characters for both Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist teams.

Overall, if you are a fan of Counter-Strike and can’t wait to start planting bombs, or saving hostages, you should take advantage of this deal. If not CS: GO will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Mac via digital download.
