Fans of SWTOR will be receiving a nice gift this fall when it becomes a free to play game. But does this mean the imminent death of the game? I am not so sure, they are actually keeping a subscription based service in which they will receive “Cartel Coins”. The Cartel coins will essentially be an in game monetary system.

In my opinion, if that is all the paid subscribers will get, I would play for free. Of course, free players will have limits on what they can do, such as limited character creation options. What are your thoughts?

As much as this looks tempting to play, I feel like by the time I get to level 50 (which I believe is the max for free players) I might get bored with it unless I get the subscription. Which I’m not willing to pay $15/month to keep playing. However will I check it out. Possibly.
