What do Bayonetta and Viewtiful Joe have in common? Well game designer Hideki Kamiya would be the first thing that comes to mind. While both games are intellectual properties owned by Sega and Capcom respectively, Kamiya-san has expressed interest in creating sequels to the highly praised franchises.
While the odds are slim for Devil May Cry’s head director and designer, he talked about the possibility sequels to the two IP’s in an interview with Famitsu magazine.
He went on to explain there were talks a follow up to the highly praised 2010 title Bayonetta, and he discusses such matters with the games producer Atsushi Inaba over a beer.
Although the current gaming landscape is too risky for those two titles to see a release, it is nice to think about a Viewtiful Joe 3 or a Bayonetta 2.
