Just like for the NES, NintendosForSale.com has a wide collection of Nintendo 64 games under $10! Not only will these games keep you glued to your seats, they also wont hurt your wallet. Here is my top 10 list to the best N64 games under $10.
When I first saw this game I thought, “Wow, a game about taking pictures of Pokemon? Sounds lame…”, but I played it and it was actually pretty fun. It’s more of a casual gamer type of game, but it’s very challenging and it’s that challenge that gives it it’s value. And if you have an N64 then you were most likely around when the Pokemon craze hit the US. You know you can hear that inner Pokemon photographer in you wanting to come out.
Okay, so maybe Star Wars Episode I wasn’t the best Star Wars movie out of the Star Wars saga, but there was one good thing that came out of it. PODRACING! You have to admit that when you saw it you said to yourself, “OH MY GOD I WANNA DO THAT!”. Well, this game let’s you experience just that. Win races to earn money to buy new parts, upgrades, pit droids, and other things to help you get to the top.
This game is just absolutely nuts. Even if you don’t know a thing about football I bet you you’ll enjoy this game. Just imagine if everyone in the NFL was on super-omega steroids that caused them to catch on fire and there are no penalties. Talk about mayhem. This game is very addictive to play for those who love football and those who don’t know a thing about it. Looking for something to play with your friends? Well here is the answer.
This game was the first good snowboarding game. It featured good graphics, a great soundtrack, and easy and addictive game play. Game modes include racing, trick attacks, and contest (which is like horse). And I can’t forget to mention that all the boarders get their clothes from Tommy Hilfiger, haha.
This game is so good that it ended up producing a million sequels: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, 3, 4, Underground, Underground 2, American Wasteland, Project 8, Proving Ground, and Ride. This game is great for those who skateboard and those who don’t. It provides you with the feeling that you’re actually doing all the tricks your character is doing on the screen, it’s quite magnificent. It also featured all of the best pro skaters at the time.
Gex 64 is a 3D platformer game that was ported from the PlayStation to the N64. It’s a fun little game about a gecko who has to save the world from Rez, the overlord of the Media Dimension. As Gex, you must step into the Media Dimension and navigate through several TV channels before you can get to Rez and stop his evil ways.
Being just a penny short of $10, Pokemon Stadium hits third place. If you love Pokemon then you will absolutely LOVE Pokemon Stadium. This game, with the help of the Transfer Pak, allows you to bring your favorite Pokemon from Pokemon R/B/Y and battle various pokemon trainers as well as the Kanto Gym leaders and Elite Four. There are also various side games and features which include the ability to play your pokemon Game Boy games on your TV. You can even snag yourself a surfing Pikachu!
Glover is another 3D platformer game for the N64. To be quite honest, I had a hard time deciding whether this game should be first or second. It’s SO GOOD and is a work of genius if you ask me. The game’s story revolves around a four-fingered glove named Glover who must recover seven crystals in order to save the world. Trust me, this game is amazing. It’s a damn shame that the sequel was never made…
Now for the best Nintedo 64 game under $10. Drum roll please.
If you ask anyone who had an N64 back during it’s prime and asked if this game was any good, they would slap you for even denying it. Sure it’s not Golden Eye, but for just 8 bucks it’ll do the job plus more. A lot more. For under $10, this what Private Miller would call the “bee’s knees”.
Well there’s my top 10 list of N64 games under $10. Some honorable mentions include: Star Wars Rogue Squadron, Beetle Adventure Racing, Spiderman, Rayman 2: The Great Escape, South Park, and Mario Tennis. I hope you enjoyed reading and that maybe this post will help in your next purchase. Until next time, this is Tom from NintedosForSale and I’ll catch ya later.
